Associate Attorney Parnian Hotaki joined us in January 2026 after previously working as a caseworker at Jussformidlingen. There, she was responsible for her own portfolio in labor law and immigration law.

Associate Attorney Hotaki is involved in legal policy, and has published several articles in the field of housing law about tenants’ rights in the rental market. In addition, she has written about ME patients’ meetings with NAV, where Associate Attorney Hotaki highlighted how many experience not being taken seriously in the face of a burdensome system.

Today, Associate Attorney Hotaki is particularly concerned with the rights and legal security of minorities. In her master’s thesis, Hotaki wrote about the criminal law protection against hate speech on the basis of ethnicity. The thesis analyzed the criminality of speech made in semi-public and private settings.

Associate Attorney Hotaki works particularly with criminal law, child law, and immigration law. She also assists in cases of compulsory mental health care and labor law. She speaks Norwegian, English and Farsi
